The AFXiED offer very precise closed loop mixture adjustment under Rider control. 2010 Touring models require adapter	Nightrider's unique voltage divider technology approximates richer fuel mixtures to quickly and simply improve the closed loop fuel mixture on your TC96/103/110 engine. The AFXiED can alter the AFR from approximately 14.5 to 13.6. This results in cooler exhaust temperatures. Recommended for stock bikes and those with upgraded exhaust or intake. There are two primary differences between the original Variable IED's and the new AFXIED design. This IED is about the size of a pack of gum and it requires +12v for the AFR display. No cutting of the OEM wiring harness is required. So while the installation takes a little more time than the original IED's, it is still a very simple install/removal procedure.
