Many riders underestimate the horsepower potential of the Shovelhead engine. They may not make as many ponies as the EVO or Twin Cam engines, but there is good potential in these engines. Putting a trick Shovelhead engine in the old bike will allow you to sneak up on unsuspecting EVO's and Twin Cams.
